OK, I'll defer to A G Russel on that one. :razz:

However, most blades have a notch cut into them just before the choil and like every thing usually have a name and it is commonly referred to as a choil.

I only threw in the "Blood grove" as another common myth re: blades and blood.

I haven't really cut off anyone's head but in my younger days worked in abattoirs and have butchered animals for food.

Been a good discussion....enjoyed it.

The limbs I have hacked off have been from gingerbread men, and never used the kukuri for that job. :D
