Was the lockpickkid banned for the message above?
Re: Tapatalk plugin for forum
I can't say I've had any issues viewing the forum as it is now from my (android) phone...
I guess I'm in the 'if it's not broke, don't fix it' camp, lol.

No, my trigger finger is not that itchy, but I can see how it might appear that way.
As a general rule, I dislike having to ban people, but he requested it. He gave us an ultimatum. He demanded we ban another forum member, even offered us money to do so, and said if we refused he didn't want to be here anymore and to ban him instead. We felt it would set a poor precedent by accepting money in exchange for banning someone due to a grudge. So we refused his money and accepted the second part of his request and banned him instead.

Thanks for the detailed answer MBI. A simple NO would have been enough for me, but I appreciate your explanation. Seemed strange to me, in fact I had to ask.
Cheers

Nobody gets banned for no reason. All of those people had legitimate reasons for being banned. Two of them were multiple repeat offenders that were given two or three chances.

This thread might be super old, but I can concur that this site is great, and works great from mobile devices. Even the chat works perfectly from the browser. I really appreciate that you guys never gave in to pressure to convert to such a p.o.s app such as tapatalk. I can't tell you how many times I've just closed a window googling things on my phone because it was trying to force me to download tapatalk.
I'm sure this being 2 years later helps but I know 2 years ago I had no problem going through forums in their native forms. Plus I really feel those apps strip away so much curb appeal that a lot of forums have to their target audiences.

I know I'm poking a dead horse here, but... I like Tapatalk, mainly because it's easy stay up to date on multiple forums and easier to post pics from my phone...
