Maxis round-keyway high-security lock help?

So I just started working again with an old Maxis mortise cylinder that I've had for a while and I'm having a heck of a time getting it open.

I've been setting the tensor right against the pins, but I can't seem to efficiently get the pins up. The hardest part is having the hook not slip off to one of the sides of the pin.

Anybody have some suggestions? I can post pictures if requested.

well the pick i used was a lifter pick, it grabbed the pins fairly easily
i levered off the bottom... use the WIDEST tensor you got...

Hah, I had actually watched this just the other day. :) Very nice picking. I wish I could get mine open that fast. Someday...
