I've sent some assa cylinders around in some trades
And people have been wondering what kind of pins they contain.
I opened two before and one of them contained :assaspool: and some kind of spool

Here are some pictures of the pins inside one i gutted(some unusual kind of spools):

Interesting. I don't see any serrations or the like. Do they pick like spool pins?

Those look really interesting Falcon. So is the first pin an hourglass shape as well. If so, it looks different that all the others. Is it just the camera angle?

I have made some custom pins that kinda look like this, but have never seen anything like that mass produced. Neat find!

Cheers,
Ed

The first pin is a regular pin :stddriver:

I have seen this kind of pins once before - in a old trio or ving cylinder.

Kind of late reply :) This an old type of spools. Found in most older ASSAs. Feedback a bit smoother than a regular spool.
