American 5200 US core replacement

I have a American 5200 US padlock that I've been using mostly for picking practice. I've opened it dozens of times, but today when I did, I messed something up... I somehow flipped the core around and siezed it up. I managed to wiggle and pick it until I could get it to rotate back where it belonged, and it seemed to work. It did stick though, the key would need some wiggling to make it turn. So I took it apart and removed the core, and something went wrong and even the key wouldn't turn it. So, after much fussing I said "F- this thing" and filed the bible down so I could remove the pins and try to see what went wrong. I didn't find the actual problem, but now I have a 5200 body that needs a new core. I haven't yet found a replacement core, so I'm wondering what I should do with this thing. Are replacement cores still available? If not, can any other cores be easily modified to drop into this lock body? Or should I just put the remainder of the lock in the Ol' Spare Parts Drawer and move on?

Also the Bays the cores from the Abus 34/55 will fit in to I believe. I put one from the eBay "NYCHA" locks as the seller gave some extra cores when I asked, and I put it in a Harbor freight General body and then the person I gave it to put it in an American 1105 body.

That's disappointing, I couldn't find it on the site, but is the Master core a typical Master? If so, this thing might just become spare parts, lol!

HL Flake still has them, roughly 100 in Stock between zero bitted, KA, and KD. They are charging almost $6 ea. ATPC12 I think is the part number.

APTC12 won't work...that's a 6 pin cylinder pinned 5.
APTC15 is/was a 5 pin cylinder pinned 5, slightly shorter than APTC12/14

This Is From The Amercain Lock Servive Manual 2013

There is a special cylinder used in the 5200GL. It has 5 pins in it and it is only 5 pins in length, the part number
is APTC15.
