New to picking...what lock type is this?

Hi all..please be patient with my newbieness!
I am trying to pick a lock and the key is on the left.
Is this what is called a single sided wafer lock or double sided?

Also what picks do you recommend to try to open it?
I lost my key and this pic is one I found.

That is a double sided wafer lock. I would use a ball or double ball and try to jiggle it open. I used to have double sided rakes but never used them.

Would a half diamond help also?

It would work fine, but you will have to flip it over a few times to set wafers on both sides.
