Sargent Keso vs. Bowley

Do you think replacing first-gen Keso on exterior doors with Bowley makes any sense?

I only have one Keso key and I can't get anyone to duplicate it. I was thinking of just replacing all the locks with Bowley.

Depending on what you're locking up, I would just use some reasonably high security lock such as Mul-T-Lock Mt5 or ASSA locks. If you have something that's time consuming to pick, bump resistant and fairly drill resistant you should be ok. There are other factors besides locks that contribute to good security.

Yeah I'd agree with that. I can't see any advantage whatsoever in a Bowley, and very many disadvantages, chief among which is that they're a novelty, not well known, well liked, or well supported within the locksmithing community. Just get whatever mid to high security system your local locksmith (ie the tradesman, not the guy in the mall) supports and go with that.
