Re: BEST picked to control

That's a great feeling isn't it!! I had a good run where I could pick open or pick to the control line on nearly every Best I picked up, that was until I got a couple that Tooly pinned up for me, now I am a defeated picker, I can't for the life of me pick these things anymore!!

Tooly, I really do hate you for that!!

I had Tooly key up some locks for me, one of them was a Schlage SC1 cylinder, he cut a key for it using a blank with a president Obama picture on it, makes me sick everytime I see it.

Re: BEST picked to control

yes you do need special tools and pins to key best i will try to make some vids. i have keyed about 10 cores. here are some of the things.

pinning and capping blocks, pin kit, key decoder, cores, locks, keys, pin ejector. ect.

Re: BEST picked to control

Has anybody had great luck with the Peterson I-Core tension tools? I mean walk up to any Best and just pull the plug like nothing, or is it harder than that? I tried to make one and couldn't get it to work. I tried it on a core that was removed, it grabbed the control lugs but for the life of me, would't put enough pressure on the cam to open it.
