"The Club" branded padlock disassembled

Ok, so I finally got around to disassembling one of those Club branded padlocks with the american cores in them. I took some pics. Lighting and focus could be better, sorry...

First disassembly step... all major components.

Nice freshly gutted padlock...a bit of machine oil dribbling off the pins and staining the crevasses of the green pin holder...great lock porn!

Great job, since you say it is an American core, are the key pins serrated I can't tell from the picture. Thanks.

Well, it is an assumption based on the design of the core and guts of the lock and comparing it with the American Lock data sheet. And, no the keypins are not serrated. It was clearly made under contract for re-branding, so it might still be American, or it could be someone else using the same mechanism...

Since you asked about the pins as well, I will do a 100% crop later of that part of the image... I did shoot with a macro lens, so it should be alot more clear than the crop form the downgraded full image.

Here's a crop of just the pins from the full original image.
