Master Excell M5 padlock help.

Ok so i bought the lock today and have the following problem.

I havent been able to get the lock open, trying all different types of tension and still nothing. But when i open it with the key and then remove the key i so that the actual pins are in a locked position......i can pick it in 2 secnds flat. But when i close the shackle again .......i cant bleeding well open it for love nor money.

Any advice appreciated.

Re: Master Excell M5 padlock help.

Mine are 83/45’s so don’t know, really.

I have to pick one from the front – pin 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 straight.
The other one I haven’t workd out yet. I can open it but not consistently.
Think it also goes 1 to 5 straight.
I found the false set only clicks and moves a fraction and the real set moves about a mil – a lot more.

I have an Abus 82/90 and it feels completely different.

Let us know what you find...
