what happened there? (my guess is oven cleaner on a aluminum lock)

Thanks, the pinning tray is a piece of1/8" aluminum that i cut on a cnc plasma and then bonded a piece of 16guage to the back. Finished the back off with a piece of sticky backed felt from the craft store.

Hahaha yea that video melting the lock is amazing. I seen it several times just couldnt get enough.

Got this baby from HT. Feels well made and love the thick key. Picks pretty easy tho. This is my first dimple lock that isnt an MTL so high modding is ahead for this one.
