Wow great stuff gents. Yea very nice to see new gents jumping right in.
Ringo great stuff with those levers. Is that a tap wrench turned tension tool? Show the tools you use/made.
Love that guttable Yale. Had no idea they made them like that. Loving it having the antique appearance with the new Technics.

Re: What have you picked today
To put tension on the bolt - a cut down key works well as a tension tool if you bend or break the end it don't matter
Any tool that will hold the stem - bit secure will do - providing it will take different gauges - YOU REQUIRE - trick is to run a grove down the whole length to make a universal holder - you do need this grove for wire to sit in and becomes clear the first time you use it - keep up the good work papa gleb

Received the Mayday lock photo contest Best cores and lock from Riyame today. Finally picked each of the 4, 5, and 6 pin cores to control. Still working on operating with even the 4 pin, though
Thanks to Riy and to the rest of the admin team for hosting the contest!

Haha, awesome. I guess that biting and cores must naturally go to the control shear line. I wanted to make it fairly easy.

Picked this up today. It took about ten minutes to pick. The guy I bought it from said it was salvaged from a bank.

Re: What have you picked today
I was riding my bicycle and saw something familiar on the side of the road. I thought I look at too many lock pictures and now I see them everywhere. Just to be sure I stopped and went back. The lock was still there. I picked it up and put it in my bike basket. As soon as I got home I cleaned it with a rag and some alcohol, then picked it open a few times on both sides. It's an old CISA with four pins, no security pins. I guess it's from the '70.
Cheers
Re: What have you picked today
Locksmith buddy of mine pulled a Lockwood V7 out of a door today and thought I might like it
Seriously we should all have a mate who is a locksmith! Anyway no key, but since when does that stop us!?
I've never come across any blanks for V7s either...
