What have you picked today

Today i picked my first Medeco!!!, with 5 out of 5 pins installed, unfortunately for something like this a picture doesn't do justice, i will make sure i get it on video next time, what a feeling!!!

Those drunken spools were impossible until I made a tight fitting tension wrench.

Something odd about these Abus 83 cores....this one is a schlage C and it's more open than actual schlage keyways. I can fit an .018 pick from top to bottom where other schlage C keyways I have to hit the pins from an angle even with a .015

I also found variations of the C schlage keyway. Some appear to be bigger than others. Maybe someone can chime in and explain cause I thought it was a different keyway but it appears to be the same.

Also those T pins are standard Schalge F series but I also thought they were without wafers. Was this lock new?

That's my own pinning. New it came with all spools accept for pin 1 which was serrated.

Pick this Best 7 pin to control at first try. Was thinking how great it would be to get control right now but stop dreaming Gleb then it turned, yay so its open but the plug doesnt turn more, whats wrong with this lock, then it hit me.

The Abus padlock pictured above is the normal C keyway. Some lock manufacturers make a much tighter keyway than others, that probably has more to do with the expense of manufacturing tighter tolerances.

There is however the C-K keyway. Which is every keyway in the Schlage C branch of the sectional system. That keyway is noticeably wider to allow for the different keyways.

On the Abus padlocks the top of the cylinder would bear a 3000 designation for the C-K keyway. The one pictured above is designated as 300 which is C only.

Got this Yale superior picked had a lot problems with it first I wasn't getting nowhere after the false set after someone briefly explained how to set the slider please can someone please explain how to pick the sliders I would appreciate it thanks guys

Gleb, is that lock painted red or is it a cover?

Its a plastic jacket that was placed on the lock before that chain ring so it cant come off. It was painted over but I cleaned it up.
