Disc Lock Picking

What's up guys? I'm wondering what tools I would need to pick a trailer hitch lock that I have (it is a disc-detainer). I was looking at this tool on dealextreme:
http://www.dealextreme.com/p/disc-locks ... 18?item=30
The lock I have is very similar to this one:
http://www.walmart.com/ip/Reese-Towpowe ... l/16880808

Would that be the right tool for this lock? The price is pretty low, but is the pick of decent quality?
Also, would this pick work on a higher quality disc lock, such as an Abloy?
I would also greatly appreciate any other information you could give me about disc-detainers as I've never run into any before.

Re: Disc Lock Picking

Your second link is broken so I cannot comment on whether the pick will work in your lock. Why dont you take some pictures so we can help you better?

You might want to check out this thread and do some searching on the forum. There is a bit of information and another post or 2 from the same person that wrote this one.

And Abloy locks that are pickable require special tools (LOTS of $$$) and a heck of a lot of time, patience and practice.

Re: Disc Lock Picking

Thanks for the replies. It looks like that pick is the same one Solomom used in the videos. Here's the lock that I have:

Ok, here's a better pic. The one I have is in the upper middle with the black rubber cap on it.

Re: Disc Lock Picking

That tool you were looking at should be able to pick those locks, but they are not easy to learn.
