This is a KABA 20 dimple lock. It has 3 rows of pins, one at 3 o'clock, one at 9 o'clock and one coming down at an angle at about 1 o'clock. It uses 4 different types of keypins. Here are the pictures of it gutted.

These are the pins that come down at an angle.

All the drivers are like this, the spring fits inside.

Holy crap man! Look at that countermilling! That is DEEP! Nobody can say they can't see the countermilling on that sucker! And them pins... wow! That's some crazy shit bro! No wonder they are so tough.

Ya know what's weird though is I always thought that they had 4 shear lines due to this statement on KABA's website "Kaba 20 is today’s standard master key system for registered individual keyings and master key systems. Issue of duplicate keys is controlled, as presentation of a security card is obligatory. Kaba 20 with 4 radially arranged tumbler pin rows is an ideal high performance system for residential and commercial sites." - http://www.kaba.com/cylinders-locks/en/ ... ba-20.html

Excellent pics kokomolock.......had the 20 in the vice this week and now i see why the thing wont bloody play the game of "open sesame". Jesus them pins aint for the faint hearted.

Mind you now i know what inside it gives me a little more advantage on getting it openned. Just out of curiosity did you get that lock from Al, cause that key looks identical to mine in respect of cuts and everything???????

Thanks for the pics

Must just be me but I got a Kaba 20 padlock and I can get it open without too much difficulty. Might just be the pin configuration of it, I dunno.

@huxleypig: Maybe you are better than you think! Maybe there are also some pins missing. Have seen Kesos with only 6-7 pins. It would be cool if you could take some picture of the lock and the key.

Anyone by chance have pictures of a Kaba 20 gutted, and pin types? The pictures in this thread are no longer available.
