ICL certified locksmith assessment

Assessment 55 points needed to pass out of 70 points.

Theory paper 10 points.
Open five cylinders non destructively,one compulsory garrison 7 pin.
select four at random.
yale 6 pin
iseo 6pin
asec
ge ge
evva all euro.
5 points.

open six bs 3621 locks non destructively.
chubb 3g 114 and a union strong bolt and four selected at random.
morgan
legg 5641
union 2134
chubb 3u 114
era invincible -profit -fortress.
securefast
walsall
euro spec easy t
chubb 3g 114e non destructive 30 points


open a code lock and a master key safe 5 points
open a 7 lever basic wellington p.o. lock 10 points


nde scenarios example. a dropped snib situation or a part thrown bolt on a curtain lock. 10 points.



assessment twice yearly.

Not many members have passed this test and went for the easier test option that icl do,so are not certified members... just a member.

Would love to have access to all those locks to practice with for a couple of weeks and then take the test ! ,
the lever locks could be a challenge (i'm still trying to develop my own mortice lock tool "think variable overlifter")

ICL as 36 certified members that past the above test and 90 members that past the somewhat easier test,that test is funny id bet everyone on this forum would pass.
