Re: PROTECALL SAFE
I had problems parking w1 and w3 and then manipulating w2, same with parking w2 and w3 and manipulating w1.. Now i could be not explaining this right. This is why i asked for help. Im about as book smart as a dog... i asked a OG safe cracker from my neighborhood and he came by and showed me some things. He told me to find the right books ask around from the forum and some one could point me in the right direction. I didnt mean to ramble on and on. "ADHD". If you can give me names of books, mag, forum write ups. I got pics, of the safe open the lock i took off like i said very disappointed about the lock being so cheap. I have to email them to myself and load them from there. I do thank you for your time..
Re: PROTECALL SAFE
Do you have a photo of the lock for us?

Re: PROTECALL SAFE
The six most important things to learn manipulation:
1) An open lock (R6730 or so) to learn what's happening. I think the best lock is one which turns with some resistance, because with these it is easier to feel when you pick up a wheel.
2) I would have said that what you have read is enough to learn manipulation, but if you need more: The best book is IMHO "The National Locksmith Guide to Manipulation". It is available on the internet somewhere.
3) Practice to feel the contact points.
4) Practice to develop strategies.
5) Some general practice.
6) And some more practice.
I think there are in the US manipulation courses. That might be helpful if you are not so good with learning from books.

Re: PROTECALL SAFE
Thanks. Looks to me like a Yale 0700, but slightly different from what I know from photos. Actually there are much more crude locks.
