Re: Different Pick handle
weird, never seen that before...
Naaapaalm...sticks to kids...it sticks to the belly and it sticks to the ribs...
See those kids standing by the lake...drop some napalm and watch them bake.

That's crazy. Does he come around anymore? The Abridor style picks are nice. Easy to make, easy to use. Music wire. I've seen a few from bike spokes that were good, and some from nice umbrella's that are ok too.
Re: Different Pick handle
I always liked watching crazy's vids. I couldn't understand him, of course, but that guy has some crazy skill opening locks, pardon the pun. Truly a damn good picker. - And yeah that always has been his pick of choice really, that style anyway.

Umbrellas BRILLIANT i never thought of that, I knew that winnie the pooh umbrella my ex left here would come in handy for sommething.
I likes my locks like I likes my women, loose and easy to manipulate.
Re: Different Pick handle
i also would love to have a small set of "abridor" style picks.
Re: Different Pick handle
Interesting... I might have to make a few like that and see how they feel... it looks like it would be fairly comfortable, and I bet the feedback is good too.

Re: Different Pick handle
It's getting the square bend right that's the tricky part.
Re: Different Pick handle
I got some piano wire yesterday and made some like these. i wont even post a pick trhey were terrible, i found it hard to get the bends on the buisness end small enough. i did manage to pick my 'feel good' amtech padlock with them (but then again i think i picked it with harsh language once). And you're right the handle ends are hard to get right, i ruined a couple at that stage, still pleanty more wire left to practice on.
FYI i used 17.5 guage piano wire and found it a bit too springy, reducing feedback. Anyone considering piano wire might want to go with a heavier guage.

I did a little "google ninjitsu" and came up with this site lol
hope it helps.... ps it seems that he used 1mm tensile wire idk... but i have a feeling that i'll be spending a lot of time bending wire in the near future lol
