Still no success, on getting that 2nd number, i did not test every single number for it, but i did test the numbers all through the interest points on my most recent graph, will keep trying
Re: First attempt at lock manipulation
can you post your graph #2.?
Seems that you have gotten a lot of info out of graph #1, may be time to move on.
Make a new graph like you first did, but this time park your known gate on wheel 3 and map wheels 1 and 2 around right.
This new graph may nail down your second gate on another wheel.
Then its off to brute forcing for the final gate on the last wheel, which will also open the lock.

Re: First attempt at lock manipulation
Been a while since I posted anything on this safe, I took a break from it to get into lock picking, gonna be getting back into this safe, how would I park wheel 3 and test the other two? Wheel 3 is the one that drives the other two isn't it? Unless I turn them all and always take wheel three back to the known gate before testing the contact areas

You got it. That's exactly right.

Re: First attempt at lock manipulation
Femurat has a thread that explained in a way that was simple for me to understand.
Getting Started in Manipulation.
quote:
"We have found our first number, the most difficult part. Now we just need the others two and we have done our job.
We are going to repeat the first test to look for another gate, but instead of moving all the wheels together, we'll use the known number on its wheel and test the others.
The process is almost the same. The only difference is that we need to dial a two numbers combo instead of moving all the wheels together (in the previous example we dialed a one number combo)".

I believe I found wheel three doing all wheels right, so if I test wheels 1 and 2 to the left and placing 3 on the known number to the right before testing the contact area
Re: First attempt at lock manipulation
You can Amplify using left rotation to find center of your gate on wheel 3.
Or figure the Rotational Conversion for you lock.

Ok i seem to be getting 63 - x - 90, tested x around 5 and 20, both were points of interest on my graphs, contact area narrows greatly around both of them, still not open, ugh i am so close i can feel it!

Re: First attempt at lock manipulation
I may need to go back and try amplifying, both numbers found were found while dialing left, however I may not be close enough to the center of the gates, I can definetly feel that the fence wants to drop, the dial seems to require a little more tension when leaving the contact area
