High/ Low test

Could someone offer some insight into a problem I have when doing a High/ Low test.

Zero was the number that showed when graphing.

Now to find which wheel it is on...

I performed a High test, Left 4 times to 10, right 3 times to 0, left to contact points. The right contact point is fine, but when checking the left contact point, the 3rd wheel moves, making the test void.

Hope that makes sense? Any help with what I'm doing wrong would be appreciated.

Thank you

Re: High/ Low test

How did you get the contact point at 0 while graphing?

You can make a near full turn left to reach the same contact point. But if the point to be tested is to near to one contact point then it just won't work. This is usually not a problem, because also one contact point provides information.

NB: Don't change the direction of the number to be tested. If you did an AWL and then test 0 right it is possible the gate isn't at 0.
