Schlage-Numbered.JPG

Don't forget the Numbered Sections :D I don't know how many of these are in current production, but assume most are restricted. I believe the 12's and 14's are readily available.

Also:
-REVERSE Key Sections: D, DQ, Q, QS, S, ST, T -- U, V, X -- Y Same pattern as the OBVERSE you have already
-To Everest, Everest Primus and Everest Primus XP add the D-Family: D123, D125, etc.
-The "Quad" Family, which I know very little other it is the same size as the Numbered and is designated by 4 letters.
-There is no "Everest XP". The "XP" was an improvement made to Primus to renew the patent.

Schlage is my favorite system, as well. Good luck!

Re: All Schlage Keyways

In my experience, Everest Primus has many of if not all of the same keyways as Everest (C123, C145, etc), just simply has the side milling instead of the single cutaway. This allows Everest and Everest Primus to be used in the same system for an added layer of higher-level access for sensitive areas, as a Primus key can open an Everest (with same primary bitting), but an Everest cannot open a Primus.

Re: All Schlage Keyways

Corrrection -
Everest Primus can open regular Everest and Everest Primus, regular Everest can only open regular Everest.
Everest Primus can not open Classic Primus, as far as I know.
femurat: They're called restricted for a reason...

Correct; I dropped the "Everest" from in front of the final "Primus," apparently. I don't think anyone's fitting a classic Primus key into an Everest keyway without some serious Dremel work :smile: .

dmasters: Thank you for your knowledge! My changes have been made above in the original post as you can see. It is much more clear and comprehensive now. It took me 4 hours to find all this info from several different URLs (below). It is unfortunate that it is not compiled into one document, and a hobbiest such as myself has to do it for them.
Please let me know if there is anything else I can add to this as there is still much missing.

Re: All Schlage Keyways

I think there's also B234 and B235 in SFIC keyway.

I was able to confirm there is a B235 in Everest SFIC keyway, but not a B234 yet. the B235 is a Dealer Keyway. So I added B235 to the Everest SFIC, thank you for your contribution.

Re: All Schlage Keyways

This may have been covered in the pdf links listed above, but here are the images just in case.

The most common family of Schlage keyways:
schlage multi section keyways.jpg

Everest, Primus Everest and Primus XP keyways:
(If my memory serves, I think the "D" Everest keyways use the same numbers as well.)

Everest 29 and Primus XP keyways:

Thank you for your contribution to my list.
I find it queer for schlage to have C and S keyways in their Primus XP line, since C is the Everest keyway, and S is the Everest 29 conversion of C. Apparently Primus XP uses both. However your information checked out with my resources, So I added it regardless. I just looks weird. But then again the patent is good till 2024, so they might as well utilize both sets of keyways.
(note... i didnt add keyway D to Primus XP because I couldn't validate it from any reliable source on the web, and B is usually SFIC)
**i also just noticed that both sets of keyways in the pictures you provided, are identical, with minute differences.

Thank you.

Everest to Everest 29
B = R
C = S
D = T

Thank you, I added all of them to the current list, I counted 63 sets of keyways.

Re: Schlage Keyways

Update:
So the remaining keyways still unaccounted for are...

Schlage Classic Quad Keys (Restricted but not patented)
Schlage Classic Reverse Keys (Restricted but not patented)

Everest 29 Primus (possibly the same keyways as Everest 29?)
Everest 29 Primus XP (possibly the same keways as Everest 29?)

FSIC (possibly the same keyways as SFIC?)

Secure Key (possibly the same as the classic key ways?)

FSIC keyways I've dealt with parallel their non-interchangeable cousins rather than SFIC. Today, I've seen C, C123, C145...

SecureKey used C keyway exclusively as far as I've seen, though this should be verified. Blue key itself was effectively an SC1 with one of the wards only partially milled in order to disengage the carriage for resetting.

Thank you jeff. however I did not see anything pertaining to the B234 keyway, and any information provided has already been added to the list. Thank you though for the link.
