So there's the two pins that are holding me up. Are they meant to be removed?
If they are... you'd probably have to have replacement pins for it -- for I'm
pretty certain I'd mangle the shit outta of em' getting them out.

Ok Oldfast,

Yes, it can be rekeyed. Turn the plug with the key to 45-90 degrees, so the top retaining pin on the back of the plug is not blocked, then tap it down. My drift punches are at work, so I used a screwdriver and rawhide mallet.

Then you can turn the plug to 180 degrees and rekey!

Turn it back to the 45-90 degree point, then tap the pin back out to the original position.

Next, you spin AWR, and graph the third wheel... :mrgreen:

Yes, those are the ones you have to remove to rekey it. I took out the top pin in mine. IIRC it extended down into the keyway and I pushed it out most of the way with a pick. They are jsut pressure fit in there.

Edit: I was beaten to it lol.

I did not replace my pin, and the lock works fine. However, if you need some of them, the pinning kit has about 100 of them, so if you need any, let me know. ;-)

The peanut cylinder is a five pin and has standard pins so that isn't a problem... Riyame just loves making fun of me for that ASSA Ruko 2 with the Twin 6000 core I locked up on camera a bit ago!

Excellent. Thanks so much guys. I had tapped them both ways with moderate force,
but I didn't really want to go ape shit on em' till I heard what you guys thought.

I might take you up on the offer of a few replacement pins someday...
I appreciate that. I've only come across a couple of these so far.

Again, not familiar with ASSA; how come the one I impressioned lacks a sidebar? Different core?

Thanks for your patience Jeff. So here's 1 of 3. A very hardy 6-pin CORBIN. I really like this lock.
First time I picked it, it nearly fell open. But gave me a bit of a battle the second time around.

With ball bearings underneath the keypins along with a great amount of lubrication already in the lock...
I wondered if this one was going to be troublesome. Impressions turned out to be pretty apparent though.
3/4 of the way through the process, they did become a little faint... but still plenty of footsteps to follow.

I'll be gone for the weekend... so I'm hoping to get at your other two before then.

Do any of the locksmiths on here have a replacement shackle for an american 5200?
I have a cut one and theres a sharp stub of the shackle that isn't friendly to hold in the hand,
