Does anyone know what this pieces that highlighted in yellow?

That's the yellow piece. It works with the grey parts. :twisted:

Not a Mauer expert, but that looks like it is a spring-loaded lever that would interact with the side of the key. Would guess the key has a cut on the side that that part fits in, allowing the lock core to rotate. It would block rotation of the core if not positioned correctly.

Would likely help in bumping attacks, but no real challenge added to picking.

If you blow up the picture, on the right side of the yellow lever, you can see a yellow spring.

The text on top of the pic is in dutch: core-pulling-secured and bumb-key secured.
The yellow piece is an active element that engages with moving element in the key. It's a key control feature.
Another special feature of this cylinder , is the 2 part cam. This should (somehow) protect it from snapping an core-pulling.

We get a lot of Mauer locks in our area , but mostly the MLS , E2 and S2. I haven't seen this one in the flesh yet.
