New to picking...what lock type is this?

://s12.postimg.org/e8p8er0n1/IMG_4625.jpg

Hi all..please be patient with my newbieness!
I am trying to pick a lock and the key is on the left.
Is this what is called a single sided wafer lock or double sided?

Also what picks do you recommend to try to open it?
I lost my key and this pic is one I found.

Thanks a lot

That is a double sided wafer lock. I would use a ball or double ball and try to jiggle it open. I used to have double sided rakes but never used them.

It would work fine, but you will have to flip it over a few times to set wafers on both sides.

Just when you think you've learned it all, that is when you find you haven't learned anything yet.
