My eyes immediatly went to the two locks at the top left. Far left is the old 930? ...
setting beside it is the newer Magnum930...an upscaled look with downscaled quality. lol

I've an old Master930/6230. It's filled with spools & the return spring in it packs some force. When I first had it,
I remember being able to pick it, but would often times lose my wrench while trying to turn the plug far enough
to open it lol. The new M930's require very little turning force and are filled with nothing but standard pins.
Do you find this to be the case with the two of yours?

Both of them sitting along side each other pays tribute to the old saying - "They just don't make em' like they use to!"

thanks for the compliment on my meager collection oldfast, id like to get my hands on some more medecos,ASSAs, corbins, bests and the like.

as far as the master goes...i bought it within the last year so it must be one of the newer models, although the tensioning on it is very weird and there are certainly some security pins in there so idk...maybe it is what you're thinkin. anyway, thanks for the compliment, i hope this will encourage more people to post their own collections. i doubt there are many on here who arent into some good old fashioned lock porn :whip:

Nice! Is that a D12 I see? And the Corbins are sweet (Corbin collector in the making here) .Just need to find a new shackle for that American and you're well on your way. I'm sure there's a couple of guys here that will fix you up with any parts/locks you desire.

The Ruko has an ASSA Max core in it, such a nifty design on the side bar.

Some great stuff there! I see a number of cutaways mixed in too.

Been writing an article on Slaymakers for awhile now, so naturally my
eye went straight to that, lol. That's a nice one. Got a combo for it?

p.s. Just noticed your sig line. That's funny! And true.
I know I've thrown my share of fits when starting out. lol

Oldfast, No I don't have the code for the Slaymaker but that's why it was $0.99 on ebay :-) (its in my to-do pile of locks make keys for or workout the combo's)
Those 2 storage containers are just the locks I could find at the time (the rest are scattered all over my house)

when "HAL" posted that in the chat I knew it had to be my sig line ;)

edit: I was just talking to someone who lived in Russia at the time, apparently this lock is about 40 - 45 years old and it cost 7 Rubble's at the time it was made (and I was told that was alot of money for a lock at the time) , he also told me that it more then likely government in nature (or Communist as he said) :D
