Picked this super old PKPT Yale tonight. Spent a few hours cleaning it with brake cleaner and Lock Saver and actually got the plug moving. Before I did that it was seized right up. Never picked something like this before. Surprisingly, because of its age, it has a serrated key pin.

It should have all serrated key pins, and serrated mushroom driver pins. Here are the pins from one of my Yale PKPT locks. The picture is lousy, but all pins are serrated.

I finally get to join the Medeco club! This is a big boy that elbow sent me. It's a 6-pin cylinder, but missing pin 3. My very first pick of anything with a sidebar.
Big thanks to Riyame for explaining sidebars and the difference between biaxial and classic Medecos today, plus
Xeo's thread was a big help.

As promised! I would have sworn pin 4 was serrated. Guess it was just a little crunchy

The second lock assassination in as many days. Pins scattered everywhere. Now all I have are empty plugs to return to the parents of Kawneer and Yale.
