Sargent from Jeff Moss. Nice security pins. Too bad he put the red one in upside down. :wanker:

I just might have to keep those pins for myself. Hmm...

I like to alternate the serrated pins :)

Another one from Jeff, this time a 6-pin American series 700 restricted keyway. Pretty challenging pick. I used the 0.015 gem until I got into false set, then switched to the heavier 0.025 gem to push on the spool(s). Still at work, so no gutted pic yet. Will deliver as soon as I can.

Dem guts. Of course I got the keypins backwards, but nobody's perfect.

One more jefflock bites the dust. A 6-pin Sargent KIK. I thought it was interesting that the driver pins are sized to the keypins so all the stacks are the same height.

With that bitting, I decided to try out my Peterson DCAP hook. It worked a real treat. Tension is the Sparrows version of the pry-bar.

Because of the weird shape of the tail of the plug, I had to MacGyver up a follower from some scrap cardboard so I could get everything back together. It worked perfectly.

Nice trick with the cardboard follower. I'll have to try that some time.
Thanks for sharing....

Hey, MSB... think you could put some larger pictures up? I just can't make out any detail on these tiny pictures. Oh, that is not a phone pole in the desert... it is a hair on your thumb. OK, the pictures are large enough.

hahaha okay that made me lol. I uploaded them straight from my phone. I can make them smaller, but I thought you might want to see how clean my pores are.

Been working on this guy for a while. Keymark from the elbowmanaroni. You can see the pins sit right down on the ward (right name for it?), so I've been unable to SPP it. Decided to try my Sparrows city rake on it, and it popped right open!

The keyway is so tight, it completely traps the rake until you reset the cylinder.

There's a line? Maybe we're talking about a different lock.

But either way, I'd be happy to pass this guy on if anyone wants to do a little swap.

Gratz on that Best. Did you pick it to operating too?
